Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "this Agreement") define the terms and conditions for using the services provided by BASE Wallet (hereinafter referred to as "this App"). Please use this service in accordance with this Agreement.

Article 1 - Application

This Agreement applies to all relations regarding the use of the service between the user and this App.

Article 2 - User Registration

This service can be used without registering a user account. However, the installation of the mobile app (aLice) is required.

Article 3 - Management of Passwords and Private Keys

  1. The user is responsible for managing the password and private key necessary to use this service in the aLice app.
  2. The App is not responsible for any damages arising from the use of the password and private key by third parties.

Article 4 - Fees

This service is free of charge, but users are responsible for any costs related to devices and communication fees required to access this service.

Article 5 - Prohibited Actions

Users must not engage in the following actions when using this service:

  1. Actions that violate laws or public order and morals.
  2. Actions related to criminal activities.
  3. Actions that infringe on intellectual property rights, including copyrights and trademarks, related to the service or its content.
  4. Actions that destroy or interfere with the functionality of the service, the servers or networks of other users or third parties.
  5. Actions that may interfere with the operation of the service.
  6. Unauthorized access or attempts to gain unauthorized access.
  7. Using the service for fraudulent purposes.
  8. Collecting or accumulating personal information about other users.
  9. Actions that cause inconvenience, damage, or discomfort to other users or third parties.
  10. Impersonating other users.
  11. Reproducing or posting information from the service on other services without permission.
  12. Unauthorized advertising, solicitation, or sales activities on the service.
  13. Engaging in activities for the purpose of meeting strangers of the opposite sex.
  14. Directly or indirectly providing benefits to antisocial forces in relation to the service.
  15. Any other illegal activities or actions deemed inappropriate by the service.

Article 6 - Suspension of Service

This service may suspend or interrupt all or part of the service without prior notice to the user in the following cases:

  1. When maintenance or updates are required for the computer system used in the service.
  2. When natural disasters such as earthquakes, lightning, fire, power outages, etc. make it difficult to provide the service.
  3. When a computer or communication network is disrupted due to an accident.
  4. When it is determined that the continuation of the service is impossible or significantly difficult due to changes in laws, social circumstances, or other factors.
  5. When it is necessary to conduct investigations based on laws and regulations.
  6. Any other situation where the service provider determines that the provision of the service is difficult.

The service is not responsible for any disadvantages or damages caused to the user or third parties due to the suspension or interruption of the service.

Article 7 - Service Restrictions

This service may restrict the use of all or part of the service without prior notice if the user falls under any of the following circumstances:

  1. Violation of any provisions of this Agreement.
  2. If the service provider determines that the user's actions are inappropriate or illegal.

The service is not responsible for any damages caused to the user due to actions taken under this article.

Article 8 - Disclaimer

  1. The service will not be held responsible for any damages caused to the user by the use of the service, except in the case of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
  2. The service will not be responsible for any damages caused to the user due to retroactive changes in laws or taxation concerning cryptocurrencies, even if the user suffers damage due to such changes.
  3. The service will not be responsible for any transactions, communications, or disputes between the user and other users or third parties in relation to the service.

Article 9 - Changes to the Service

The service may change the content of the service or discontinue the service without notifying the user in advance. The service is not responsible for any damages caused to the user due to such changes.

Article 10 - Changes to the Terms of Service

The service may change these terms at any time without notifying the user if deemed necessary.

Article 11 - Handling of Personal Information

The service does not collect, store, or use any personal information from the user.

Article 12 - Notifications or Communication

Notifications or communications between the user and the service will be made in accordance with the method specified by the service.

Article 13 - Prohibition of Assignment of Rights and Obligations

The user may not assign or pledge their rights or obligations under the use agreement or this Agreement to a third party without prior written consent from the service.

Article 14 - Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The interpretation of this Agreement shall be governed by Japanese law. In the event of a dispute regarding the service, the court having exclusive jurisdiction over the location of the service provider shall have jurisdiction.
